What will be covered?

  • We begin this series by identifying your Arena of Influence. These are the people that honor the auction with their time, talent and donations. They advertise, sponsor and attend the auction.
  • Next we will discuss the professionals. These are the vendors that provide support services for staging the show and for processing guests, inventory and donations.
  • Then we will discuss the Value Per Minute formula for success. This basic checkbook math equation keeps volunteers on track and guides the team to the auction goal.
  • Every auction has a handful of basic profit centers: The raffle, The silent auction, The paddle raise and The live auction. We discuss the personality, sales protocol and procedures related to each profit center.
  • Donors are the diamonds of the event. A well planned auction will show them off & give them sparkle. Most donors don't understand the power of advertising by donating. Learn how to increase a donor's visibility and create new customers for that donor.
  • Learn the power of procuring the right stuff at the right price for the buying audience.
  • The ability to move products and people efficiently is critical to the auctions success. Discover simple selling tips that get people excited about buying all that great stuff as quickly as possible.
